Day 1: Understanding the AI Landscape & Generative AI for Leaders

Session 1: Artificial Intelligence Concepts

In this session, participants will gain an understanding of AI, its evolution, and its key technologies. This will include an overview of the various types of AI and how they differ from one another, focusing on the role of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.

Session 2: AI Hardware & Infrastructure Essentials

AI systems require specific hardware to operate effectively. This session introduces participants to the types of hardware used in AI, including GPUs, TPUs as well as the role of cloud computing in facilitating AI applications.

  • Learn about the hardware requirements for running AI models.
  • Understand the role of cloud computing in AI development and deployment.

Session 3: Case Studies from Key Industries

This session provides real-world examples of AI in various industries. Participants will explore how AI is being utilized in marketing, finance, human resources, smart cities, manufacturing, and healthcare. The case studies will showcase both the challenges and successes of AI adoption in these fields.

Session 4: Challenges of AI – Ethics, Bias, and Security

Session 5: Hands-On Exercise 1 – Training a Model with BigML

Participants will get hands-on experience using BigML, a no-code platform that allows users to train machine learning models .This exercise will involve training a model tailored to a business case, such as business-specific data.

  • Learn how to train AI models using no-code platforms.
  • Create and evaluate AI models based on a real business use case.

Session 6: Design Sprint – Identifying Business Problems and AI Solutions

In this hands-on session, participants will work together to identify key business challenges they are facing within their organizations. Using the design sprint methodology, they will map out how AI solutions can address these problems, allowing participants to begin thinking about practical applications of AI in their companies.

Day 2: AI Ethics, Bias & Design Sprint

Session 1: Introduction to AI Tools for Non-Technical Leaders

This session will introduce participants to accessible, no-code AI tools that allow non-technical users to build AI solutions without needing to know how to code. 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand how non-technical leaders can use no-code tools to build AI solutions.

Session 2: Hands-On Exercise 1 – Training a Model with Google Teachable Machine

Participants will get hands-on experience using Google Teachable Machine, a no-code platform that allows users to train machine learning models using images, sounds, or poses. This exercise will involve training a model tailored to a business case, such as categorizing customer images or other business-specific data.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn how to train AI models using no-code platforms.
  • Create and evaluate AI models based on a real business use case.

Session 3: Hands-On Exercise 2 – Sentiment Analysis

Sentiment analysis is a powerful AI application that helps businesses analyze customer feedback, reviews, and social media posts. In this session, participants will use tools to perform sentiment analysis on real-world data, such as customer reviews or market research.

  • Understand the power of sentiment analysis for decision-making.
  • Gain experience using AI tools for text analysis and data interpretation.

Session 4: Hands-On Exercise 3 – Building a Chatbot

Participants will explore the power of AI-driven chatbots and how they can automate customer service and communication. Using no-code platforms such as botsonic AI tool, they will create a simple, functional chatbot that can be deployed in their organizations.

  • Learn how chatbots can improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Build and test a chatbot tailored to business needs.

Session 5: Hands-On Exercise 4 – Automating Workflows with Make.com

Participants will explore automation tools such as Make.com to automate routine business workflows. The session will focus on integrating AI-powered tools with business systems like Google Sheets, Gmail, Slack, or other cloud applications to streamline processes.

  • Learn how to automate business workflows using AI tools.
  • Gain hands-on experience integrating various business systems with automation tools.

Dr Naveed Iftikhar

An AI strategist and leader, he specializes in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions for businesses and governments. As the co-founder of atomcamp, he has designed and led AI training programs for organizations such as ARAMCO, UBL, Bank Alfalah, Tamimi Group KSA, Lucky Core International, Emarat Group, UNDP, and the National Institute of Public Administration.

With a strong academic foundation in business problem-solving, he has taught thousands of students and professionals through data science and AI bootcamps, as well as at leading business schools including LUMS, KSBL, and IBA Karachi.

Mahnoor Salman
