About this Course

The essay writing course has been designed to help students, professionals, and those aspiring for a career in government or aiming for studies abroad. The course will start with exploring the thinking patterns, ideas, and concepts followed by covering the fundamentals of analysis and building of arguments, and finally developing a clear and wholesome essay writing style.

This is a skill development course, therefore, it is expected that the trainees will have basic knowledge and understanding of grammar and a reasonable vocabulary base. 

The trainer will deliver the sessions in a seminar/workshop format with regular class participation and interaction. After each session, the trainees will be given assignments related to the topics covered in the session. The trainer will provide feedback on each assignment.


Umar Riaz is a civil servant, trainer, and motivational speaker. He topped the all Pakistan CSS exam and has since been involved in training, mentoring, and coaching youth. With degrees in Economics from Pakistan, Public Policy from the US, and Law from Australia, he brings in a wealth of academic skills to add to his interests in critical thinking, analytical writing, and problem-solving. In the essay writing course, he aims to combine knowledge and skills in activity-based training to benefit aspiring civil servants, business professionals, and dynamic students.
